Pianist. Composer. Music Producer.

1996 - 2002 studies and graduation in jazz piano at Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Cologne From 2001 to 2004 I played three Japan and Corea Tours with the German-American Project Sweetbox. In 2006 I signed a major deal with Universal Music for Neuser, for recording an album produced by Olaf Opal. In the following years I turned more and more to music production, started the label Songpark with Henning Neuser and published several albums there. Alongside Neuser I continued to work as a pianist and arranger. With the acoustic duo die Poplounge I played several hundred gigs over the years, one of which being a concert with the Camerata Schumann conducted by Alexander Shelley. For the latter I did all orchestral arrangements. Since I became more and more interested in electronic music I started the electronic duo dyrtbyte with Drummer Aram Khlief in 2013. Many concerts and cross-genre collaborations with dyrtbyte followed, including concerts at Palladium/Cologne, Roxy/Prague, the first edition of Katzensprung Festival or a gig under the streets of Cologne at the historical site of Praetorium, TV shows with WDR Television and a concert at the Funkhaus Köln with the WDR Funkhausorchester conducted by Gordon Hamilton. For the latter I also did all orchestral arrangements. All this time I kept writing and producing cinematic music. As a consequence I successfully took part in several film scoring competitions e.g. Indie Film Music Contest, Score the World, Berlin International Film Soring Competition and Zürich International Film Scoring Competition. My first assignment as a film composer is Schloss Einstein, for which I did 14 sequences in 2022….
